2245160 - JDBC Error - ORA-01882: time zone region not found

You set up an integration from PI JDBC channel to a third party Oracle DB. When the communication is started, you get an error as the following:

 Error during database connection to the database URL '<DB connection string>' using the JDBC driver 'oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver':

'com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.sql.DriverManagerException: Cannot establish connection with the registered driver.

oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver returns: ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-01882: timezone region not found.

"
