2245276 - Rolling Demand Plan Does Not Change History And Forecast Dates

You are performing the action Roll on a demand plan. You see that the values in fields History Start Date, History End Date, Forecast Start Date and Forecast End Date do not change.

1. Go to Demand Planning work center.
2. Navigate to Demand Plans view.
3. Select the demand plan you want to roll, select the button Roll and choose the option Roll Plan.
4. In Roll Demand Plan screen you see that the values available under History and Planning Horizon After Roll is the same as Current History and Planning Horizon.

You expect these values to be different.

The function of rolling a demand plan is to check if the rolling horizon/interval has passed and if so move the demand plan to current horizon dates. The Forecast Start Date of your demand plan is in the current period. Since your planning periods are in the current time period the system will not change these dates while rolling the demand plan.

The system is working as designed.
