Configuration :
The Use redirect feature is found in Career Site Builder (CSB). Navigate CSB > Settings > Site Configuration > Site Information tab > (select Use Redirect).
When the switch Use Redirect is set to YES, the Redirection URL can then be populated with the desired Site URL.
Purpose:
This field allows you to specify a source URL from which traffic automatically redirects to the target career site in the Site URL field, above, with the following requirements:
- You can only choose one source URL for your hostname from which to redirect, such as mycompany.example.com.
- Your source URL for the redirect can't include uppercase letters, underscores, slashes, or spaces.
- Remove http or https when you enter the source URL in the redirect field.
- If the source URL is in a different domain than what's in the Site URL field, it needs its own SSL certificate. Make sure you get and install the SSL certificate in Tools > SSL Certificates in Career Site Builder.
A separate certificate isn't required if your career site URL is using wildcard certificates or certificates with a SAN entry that covers the additional domain.
- Have your organization's IT department add a DNS CNAME record so that the source domain you add as the redirect URL points to the same value as what's specified in Site URL that the DNS entry points to. Depending on the date of the original implementation, this would be either companyname.jobs2web.com or SiteId.jobs2web.com.
