2247059 - How to locate the GUID for a Goal Import File

Symptom

How do I locate the GUID for a Goal that was imported that I may now want to update or delete?

Environment

BizX - Goal Managment

Resolution

The GUID is a Required field. This is a unique code that the import creator added to the import file to update or delete goals at a later date and time. The code will group one or more goals into one action. Example, an import file is used to push a goal to all employees in both the engineering and sales department. At a later date and time, all these goals can be updated by one import file line by specifying an action and the GUID.

Now, you want to update several of these goals however do not have the GUID.  How do I get these?

You can retrieve the GUID through the Goal Management Ad Hoc Report:

Below are instructions for creating a sample report to retrive this information.  You may to include Columns to provde a more robust report:

1) Reporting Module => Ad Hoc Reports
2) Create a "Goal Management" Ad Hoc report
3) Select the Goal Plan
4) In Column => Select the Goal Plan Name => select the Goal Name => select the GUID column (filter as needed)
