2247666 - Error Occurs While Creating a new Visit

Symptom

Error occurs while creating a new Visit:

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Visits work center.
  2. Select the New button.
  3. Add all mandatory details.
  4. Select the Save button.
  5. Po-up window appears with below error message:
    • /SAP_BYD_UI_CT/Main/Support/UIDesignerPreview.QA.uicomponent and /SAP_BYD_UI_CT/Main/Support/UIDesignerPreview.QA.uicomponent marked as Application. Adapt if not correct or open an case.

Cause

The error occurs because  the Partner Development work center is assigned to the user.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Application and User Management Work Center.
  2. Go to the User and Access Management view and select Business Users sub-view.
  3. Search for the user XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the user).
  4. Select the user and choose Edit -> Access Rights.
  5. Go to the Work Center and View Assignment tab.
  6. Un-check the PDI_PARTNER_DEVELOPMENT work center assigned to the user.
