2248188 - Unable to upload BIRT Template as the Dataset Tab is Missing in Ad Hoc Reporting

Symptom

Missing Dataset Tab option in Ad Hoc Reporting.

Environment

  • SuccessFactors HCM all release 
  • Ad Hoc reporting

Reproducing the Issue

In the Ad Hoc Reporting Edit Mode - Dataset Tab missing.

Cause

  • Visual Publisher switch not enabled in Provisioning

Resolution

Log into Provisioning

  1. Provisioning
  2. Company Setting
  3. Search for Visual Publisher
  4. Check the button to enable the switch
  5. Save

Go Back to BizX

  • Analytics
  • Reporting
  • Adhoc
  • Create new Report 
  • Single domain
  • Select Performance Management
  • Name the report
  • Select Template
  • Select column
  • Save 
  • Go to Edit
  • Dataset Tab become available
