2248919 - Variable Pay:Not able to delete employee history record

You uploaded the file with column "Delete Record" to delete some employees record but it is not working.

Variable Pay

1. Go to Compensation Home
2. Select your Variable Pay program
3. Plan Setup > Manage Users > Edit Employee History
4. click on Import Data
5. Upload the file with column "Delete Record" as shown below.

The records got imported with no errors but also didn't delete the desired record.

This is because TRUE is not a valid value for deleting records

Please use the value "Y" or 'y' for deleteRecord column instead of "TRUE". Then the record will be deleted.

Note: if you used Y for deleteRecord but it didn't update (and not errors were generated), then likely you are using an older version of an employee history record export and a more recent import the system IDs. Always make changes from a fresh export of employee history records, so that you're using the most updated system IDs.
