2248922 - Messages such as "Insert Started" can no more be found in IQMSG on SAP IQ 16.x - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • On IQ 15.x, whenever you issue a "insert" or "update" statement, a notification message "Insert Started" or "Update Started" is written to the IQ MESSAGE LOG.
  • On IQ 16.x, the notification messages "Insert Started" and "Update Started" are not being logged.
  • The messages are usefull to monitor the execution start/end time for inserts and updates.
  • A feature request is logged for those messages be printed in IQMSG on IQ 16.x as they were on IQ 15.4.
