2249117 - Page Verification Error in 'Page Header' when dumping a database - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When dumping a database, Backup Server raises the following error:
D03: Page Verification Error: Page mismatch. Page ... contains ... in page header.
D03: SYBMULTBUF WARNING: One or more errors have been reported while performing
consistency checks on the pages being dumped. The affected pages will be reread in an attempt to discard spurious errors.
D03: SYBMULTBUF WARNING: After rereading the pages, the consistency check has continued to report one or more errors.
  • Dump is completed and can be loaded without any errors.
  • Dbcc checkdb and dbcc checkalloc return no errors when checking the database.
