Symptom

  • When attempting to use the 'sybmail' feature, receive error:
    sqlcode=11518 sybmail encountered CMC error
    Sybmail CMC Error: There was a generic failure that does not fit the description of any other return code
  • Executing sybmail is related commands like: xp_sendmail, xp_startmail, xp_stopmail, xp_readmail, xp_findnextmsg, xp_deletemail, sp_sendmail
