2250302 - Unable to Delete/Remove Approval Process

Cannot delete an Approval Process. Error message generated:

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) - All Supported Versions

1/ Login as LMS admin user

2/ Click Refrences > System Admin > Approval Process

3/ Search for the Approval Process you want to delete

4/ Click Edit icon > Click Delete button

5/ See the error message '<example> cannot be removed because it is in use'.

Approval process cannot be removed if it is associated with any item/so/external requests OR has been involved in any approval requests which have been already approved/rejected or in-flight.

Check if the Approval Process was used earlier. If yes, it is by design that a used Approval Process cannot be removed.
