The number of table partitions will exceed to the partition limit (1000 partitions or 15000 partitions depending on edition of SQL Server). Or the parition number reaches the maximum and error 7719 happens.
BW compression is implemented in order to decrease the number of partitions. However, the partition number is still unbale to be decreased.
