2251263 - Message KI178 Enter a true account assignment relevant to cost accounting

Symptom

When updating time infotypes with cost assignment, the system issues the error message:

“Enter a true account assignment relevant to cost accounting. Message no. KI178”

This occurs when the account assignment objects are statistical, missing, or otherwise not valid for CO postings.
