2251329 - When a candidate tries to upload a file with the extension .pptx in the resume or CV upload the system just keeps loading.

Symptom

A candidate is trying to upload a resume using pptx file format and the page is just loading.

Environment

SuccessFactors Recruiting Managament (RCM) - All versions

Reproducing the Issue

1 - Edit Candidate Profile;

2 - Upload a new CV using PPTX file format.

Cause

.pptx file format is not supported. Accepted file types for resume and cover letter uploads are Microsoft Word, PDF, image, and text. Media files, such as .wav and .mp3 are not supported.

Resolution

Since we do not support .pptx file, we have to convert it into other format.
