2251441 - Compensation Management:Adding back a Salary ineligible employee to the worksheet displays Salary fields data.

Symptom

Template has a eligibility rule which makes some users Salary Tab ineligible and salary fields data is greyed out on the worksheet.

As users are ineligible for Salary tab as per the eligibility rule defined on the plan when we add one of those users back we should not see Salary related data.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • Talent Management
  • Compensation

Cause

When we add a member, compensation components you selected will override eligibility from eligibility rule.

In this case, we selected all compensation components, that means user added will be eligible to all 3 components, salary, bonus and stock.

Resolution

Update the worksheets and apply the eligibilty rule by selecting the option "Rules already set up through the Compensation Template's Eligibility Rules Engine. Apply those to the Compensation Worksheets as Well.".This will make the salary fields greyed out again.
