2251603 - How to obtain SAML traces from Successfactors

This document explains how to fetch SAML traces from Bizx instance.

Successfactors

This is helpful in troubleshooting SAML/Webdynpro/Mash-up related issues.

Firstly, You would require SAML extension in your browser.

For example: This is called SAML Chrome Panel in Google Chrome browser.

• Logon to Successfactors --> My Employee Files.
• Hit F12 or ctrl+shift+I on the Keyboard.
• Click on SAML Chrome

 

Now, From the drop-down, Click on Payroll

This step would generate SAML traffic and the traces are logged. 

Click on the "Export" button at the top-right hand corner of the page to download the SAML trace in .json format. 

For example: 

For issues where the Payslip of an employee is not visible, SAML trace helps in checking if the Payroll system url is correctly defined and if there are any errors while connecting to the Service provider.
