1. What is the status of a new hired employee if we go to Employment Information -> History -> Take Action -> Make Correction

3. So what will be the status of the new hired employee if we change the effective as of date to a future date via Employment Information -> History -> Take Action -> Make Correction and save it.

• If a user is already active in the instance and you change the Hire date to a future date, this will not change the status of a user in the Employee Export File and they will still show as active, which can be seen in the People search or from the UDF:
• To correct the users status must be manually changed via a Basic User Import
