2253054 - Date displayed on the RMK Career site differs from the RCM start date - Recruiting

On the RMK Career site, the date displayed does not match the RCM Start date, on the same Job Requisition

1. Look for a job on the RCM career site
2. Look for the same job on the RMK career site
3. Compare the RCM Posting Date to the Date field on the RMK career site.
4. The dates are different.

The date shown on the RMK page is the Reference date. This is not the date when the job was posted in RCM.

The date displayed on job description page and on date relevance column in the search results is the Reference date. It is set when the job is first imported in the RMK platform.

The Start Date is the RCM Posting Date in the job requisition but cannot be viewed on the RMK career site.

The Reference Date is updated every month automatically by the RMK platform for external job postings. The jobs are updated to promote SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and to keep the web content fresh. It ensures that the job requisitions are also picked up as new jobs when posted to aggregators.

The case of reposted jobs :
If a recruiter takes down a posting in RCM and re-posts it at a later date, the system deactivates the job when it is unposted and then re-activates it once it is re-posted to the RMK Site.

A nightly process will check the reference dates of this reposted job and assign a new date if older than a month. If not, the previous reference date will be visible on the career site.

After that, the reference date will be updated again following the previously mentioned refresh rule.

The logic of this date field cannot be configured at this time but customers have already lodged a few ideas pertaining to this feature. For example :

Change the refresh of the Reference Date in RMK and Job date in RMK does not match with job posted date in RCM
