Symptom
- ASE Installer fails trying to bind the tempdb database to cache.
- It displays an error message similar to this in console mode:
Installation Completed

Please check the installer log file "/ASE/SP02/log/ASE_Suite.log" and
consult SAP Support at http://service.sap.com.
If you have not done so, please go to http://service.sap.com/licensekeys to
obtain the SAP software licenses.
PRESS <ENTER> TO EXIT THE INSTALLER:
- It displays an error message similar to this in the GUI mode:
Cache binding changes for 'tempdb' are not dynamic. Adaptive Server must be restarted for the change to take effect.
End output from 'sqlsrvr'.
Task failed: optimize ASE. Terminating configuration.
Configuration failed.
Exiting.
The log file for this session is 'F:\sybase\sybase\ASE-15_0\init\logs\log1104.001'.
