Unable to move non-applicant candidates to any status in candidate pipeline

Error: Required information to be filled in by the other operators is required to proceed

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Login to the instance and move the candidate to the any status in the candidate pipeline
2. You can drag the candidates to any status or change the “Status” field and save.
3. You will get an error:  Required information to be filled in by the other operators is required to proceed

Recruiter doesn’t have permission to read/write permission to a mandatory field in the application template.

There are two ways to fix this scenario:

1. Edit the XML template using the Manage Templates tool, so that recruiter will have write permission to the mandatory field;
1. If you have "Multi Stage" enabled, the alteration should be done in the job requisition template. 
2. If you have "Single Stage" enable, then the alteration should be done in the job application template 
2. Change the required attribute into a non-mandatory field so that recruiters will be able to move non-applicant candidates;

Note: When “Late Stage” feature is enabled, then recruiter will be able to move the candidate and they can pass the mandatory field even if it is not filled. However, once job requisition is posted and there will be changes in Job Requisition template, recruiter will then get the error message when moving the candidate in the pipeline. Candidate will not move as well if recruiter changes the question afterwards and made it required ( This will only affect old candidates )
