2253798 - Status of Assignment Profile does not change even when it is set to synchronise daily - Learning Management System

Though the assignment profile syncs daily, the status on the assignment profile does not change and still shows when it was last propagated or last synced manually

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

1. Propagate an assignment profile (AP) and check the status
2. Set the Assignment profile synchronisation automatic process (APM) to run hourly
3. Even though the automatic process has run successfully several times the status of the assignment profile does not change

This is how the product is designed to work

• The purpose of the Assignment Profile Status field is to show what needs to be done
• 
• The status changes according to the actions that you take on the assignment profile: 
• 
• The status does not change if you have setup the automatic process for the AP sync though the AP sync finishes the synchronization
• The status will change only if the AP is either propagated or manually sync it via the AP record
• It is recommended to have the Assignment Profile Synchronization APM to send an email notification upon completion
• The notification contains the Assignment Profile details if confirmation is needed that the AP was synched by the APM
