2253798 - Valid Last Update of Assignment Profile Not Updated With Assignment Profile Execute Updates Last Execution

• The 'Valid Last Update of Users and Assignments' on the assignment profile header is not updated when the 'Assignment Profile Execute Updates' automatic process runs.
• Instead, this field shows the last time the 'Update Users and Assignments' was executed manually on the assignment profile.

1. Access Learning Administration >
2. Go to Manage User Learning > Assignment Profiles and search for an assignment profile >
3. Go to the Actions menu and select 'Update Users and Assignments' >
4. Wait for the background job to complete and confirm that the date of the last execution is updated on the assignment profile header >
5. Go to System Administration > Automatic Processes > Assignment Profile Execute Updates and schedule the automatic process to run >
6. Return to the assignment profile and notice that even though the automatic process has run successfully, the date on the assignment profile does not change.

This is the system expected behavior.

• The purpose of this field is to show what action from the Actions menu needs to be done or was recently completed.

• The field does not change when running the 'Assignment Profile Execute Updates' automatic process.
• The status will change only if the 'Update Users and Assignments' or 'Execute Changes' option is selected from the Actions menu directly on the assignment profile.
• To confirm if the assignment profile was correctly updated by the 'Assignment Profile Execute Updates' automatic process it is recommended to configure the automatic process to send an email notification upon completion, as the notification contains the assignment profile details.
