2253891 - Pay Statement Error: There’s a problem with the Employee ID. Check if the employee information was added to the system

While trying to display the SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA ESS Salary statement ABAP Web Dynpro application or a Mashup in SuccessFactors Employee Central, the following error is raised:

• There’s a problem with the Employee ID. Pay Statement Error: EA-HR code line is not active OR There’s a problem with the Employee ID. & try again. If it continues, please contact your Admin.
   

NOTE: the customer could be using Standard EC Payroll Pre-Packaged Content for Employee Replication.
