2254913 - No RBP Permission to Access Talent Search Functions in Talent Search - Succession Management

An error message is shown when trying to access the Talent Search page:

No RBP Permission to access talent search functions. Please make sure that you have at least one ACTIVE Permission Role with searchable fields.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

1. Go to Succession > Talent Search
2. An error message is displayed, indicating that RBP permission to this page is missing for the user:

For the Talent Search, the permissions are defined directly through Admin Center > Role Based Permissions.

To use Talent Search, you would need to grant permission for the Talent Search fields on RBP:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles
2. Select the desired permission role
3. Click "Permission"
4. Under "User Permissions" section, go to Talent Search Field
5. Select the fields that should be available on Talent Search
6. Click "Done" > "Save Changes"

Now, users from the selected permission role will be able to use Talent Search, based on the searchable elements they were granted permissions for.

For Admin access to the Talent Search settings:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles
2. Select the desired role
3. Click Permission Settings
4. Go to Administrator Permissions > Manage System Properties, and select Talent Search Management
5. Click Done and save changes

Log out and back in to see the changes reflected in the system. Admin will now have access to the Talent Search settings in Admin Center.
