2254995 - BI 4.x - Server Intelligence Agent stopping status

Symptom

  • The Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) stays stuck in the Stopping state for a long time (several minutes) before shutting down.
  • The trace associated to the Server Intelligence Server (add -trace in the SIA command line for full log) shows difficulties to close sub-processes such as Crystal Report Server with a regular retry every 15 seconds. ie:

  • Checking further in the processes logs (Logging folder) having problem to shutdown, it appears the service is encountering some issues such as WSAEHOSTUNREACH or WSAENETUNREACH
