2255014 - Error "tunel connection fail" on Fiori Client when using home or back button and no return to launchpad - FC

Symptom

  • Accessing a custom Fiori Client or Fiori client from Playstore via SAML, using the "Home" or "Back" button sometimes the following error is displayed:
    TUNNEL CONNECTION FAILED
  • The Fiori Client logs are showing:
    2015-11-30 11:18:56:018+0100 com.sap.smp.usage ERROR <html><head><title>Error report </title></head><body><h1>HTTP Status 500 - Request processing failed; nested exception is java.lang.ClassCastException: Cannot cast class java.lang.String to class java.util.ArrayList </h1></body></html>
    2015-11-30 11:18:56:018+0100 com.sap.smp.usage ERROR Uploaded report text:
