Stack Overflow at line 14 error appearing when accessing the Succession Org Chart in IE 8.

Environment

SuccessFactors : Succession Org Chart

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance.
  2. From the Home tab click on the Succession Tab.
  3. Access the Succession Org Chart and would receive an error Stack Overflow at line 14.

Cause

The error is triggered by IE's javascript debugging.

Resolution

  • Open the browser IE8
  • The simple fix is to enable the "Disable Script Debugging" option in IE: tools->internet options->advanced.
