2256230 - Error - An application error occurred when trying to add a comment for more than one application - Recruiting Management

A user is getting an application error when trying to add comment on multiple applications.

SuccessFactors Recruiting Managament (RCM) - All versions

1 - Go to Recruiting page;

2 - Search for the requisition that is being affected by the problem;

3 - Click on candidates to view the talent pipeline;

4 - Select more than one candidate;

5 - Click on "Action" drop down menu and select "Add Comment" option;

6 - A new page will appear and you only have to proceed with the process by typing a comment and click on "Add Comment" button;

7 - After saving, you will receive an Application error which generates a timestamp information.

A code error can be impacting the system and generating this issue.

Our team has already delivered a code fix on b1508 release for the issue that was occurring when adding a comment for more than one candidate on their application, so it should not be impacting your instance anymore.

However, if the issue is still occurring, we kindly ask you to create a new case to our Cloud Product Support team and please inform on its description the timestamp which has been generated after receiving the error message (timestamp captures additional information from servers which we use for technical analysis on system’s logs and to identify possible errors on it), steps to reproduce the problem, instance credentials and screenshots illustrating the issue.
