2256373 - Cannot send Push Notifications using SMP 3.0

Symptom

  • Unable to send a push notification and seeing these errors from the REST client generating the push:
    "Can not find notification type for registration ID:'6986b5f0-db08-43e8-bc40-21219b2603b4'"
    "Invalid notification target ID"

  • SMP server log shows:
    #2.0#2015-12-10 10:24:17 PM#FATAL#Push####1449779056519000#2e98250a-e9b8-43fa-ad4e-a1f37c05a0e6##NotificationController:pushToRegistration########615#####Notification rejected.#
