2256932 - WorkContractID field on XML is not replicated via standard prepackaged master data iFlow

This KBA explains the solution which should be implemented to replicate the field Work Contract ID to SAP from Successsfactors.

Scenario:

The field WorkContractID should be populated in ERP/ECP system.

HCM on-premise,ECP,BizX

1. The master data iFlow picks up the data from Successfactors and sends it to SAP system successfully.

2. The field in the compound employee response XML is contract_type under the Job Information segment

3. The equivalent field which is sent to SAP from Boomi is WorkContractID, this is missing in the structure "PAOCF_EC_WORK_AGREEMENT_ITEM"

This is not a standard field provided in the XSD of the PA_SE_IN, there is no standard replication of the field WorkContractID in the Addon.

Standard field Contract_Type (in EC) has not been mapped to any ERP field in standard iFlow. Hence basic extensibility feature can be used to replicate this information.

The resolution for this can also be found in the master data implementation guide.

Work Contract:

There is no standard Employee Central field that replicates to the SAP ERP field Work Contract (ANSVH) in infotype 0001.

Recommendation

If you need to assign Work Contract to an employee in Employee Central we recommend you use Extensibility to do so.

1.Create a custom field in the Employee Central portlet Job Information.

2.Create a picklist for the new custom field based on the 2 character values in the SAP ERP customizing table T542A.

3.Map the new custom field to the Work Contract (ANSVH) using Extensibility.

NOTE: This KBA is only applicable for PA_SE_IN software component
