Symptom

  • When viewing Crystal Reports For Enterprise (CR4E) report based on SQL command objects with parameters in BI Launchpad, the prompt screen spins forever.
  • In BI Launchpad trace log, might see the following error:

Unable to get LOV Cursor
Caused by: com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.lib.ReportSDKException: Verify Database Detected New Data Parameter [param1, param2] added to datasource.---- Error code:-2147217395 [CRSDK00002607] Error code name:serverProgrammingError
Caused by: java.lang.Exception: Verify Database Detected New Data Parameter [param1, param2] added to datasource.
