  • External Participant not able to login and complete 360 feedback
  • An error message is recieved - Your credentials are invalid. Please contact your administrator

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Add an external participant in the 360 form and send the form to the Evaluation Stage. 
  2. When the form is sent to the evaluation stage, an e-mail notification is sent to the external participant with a link to access the review form.
  3. When the external participant clicks on the link they get the error "Your credentials are invalid. Please contact your administrator".

Resolution

  1. Go to Admin Center -> Role Based Permissions-> Create a New Role -> Open Role-> Check for User Login Permission-> See if it is enabled. If it is not enabled, we need to enable it and save the Role.
  2. Then Go to Target Population and Select All. This permission gives the ability to external participants to login to the instance. Please find the screenshot below for reference.

  3. Now, the external participant will be able to login to the instance and complete the 360 feedback.

Should this not resolve the issue, please check in Provisioning, if the setting "Turn off the IP restriction for external users" is enabled. If not, please enable this setting.
