Symptom

Following an upgrade from ASE 15.5 to ASE 15.7, executing a batch statement failed with the following error messages:

Z0BE: BatchUpdateException: Error occurred while executing batch statement: A query plan cannot be generated for DML command executed with homogeneous batch parameters.
A query plan cannot be generated for DML command executed with homogeneous batch parameters. The batch was aborted.
nested exception is java.sql.BatchUpdateException: JZ0BE: BatchUpdateException: Error occurred while executing batch statement.
