2259379 - Database error 297 in System Log

In your Solution Manager system, you observe in the System Log (SM21 transaction) the following errors:

15:49:37 DIA  001 100 SM_EFWK                   BY  2 Database error 297 at OPC
15:49:37 DIA  001 100 SM_EFWK                   BY  0 > The user does not have permission to perform this action.
15:49:37 DIA  001 100 SM_EFWK                   BY  1 Database error 297
15:56:31 DIA  026 100 SM_EFWK                   BY  2 Database error 297 at OPC
15:56:31 DIA  026 100 SM_EFWK                   BY  0 > The user does not have permission to perform this action.
15:56:31 DIA  026 100 SM_EFWK                   BY  1 Database error 297

Further checking the developer traces (dev_XX files) you discover the cause of the errors are coming from remote monitored system:

B Connect to DBTESTMON as DBM_SAPMonitor with OBJECT_SOURCE=SAPMonitor MSSQL_DBNAME=DBM MSSQL_SERVER=DBTESTSERVER

C The user does not have permission to perform this action.
B ***LOG BY2=> sql error 297 performing OPC [dbds 398]

B ***LOG BY1=> sql error 297 [dbacds 1843]
