2260928 - Migration of Material Valuation Data Tool Shows Slow Performance During Simulation

You are migrating Material Valuation Data and the Import Simulation step takes more than 5-6 hours to complete. 

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview.
3. Search and Open the migration activity Migration of Material Valuation Data
4. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File

The logic for Material Valuation Data migration is such that if we try to update the Unit Costs for past periods, each follow-up period is checked for valuation.

Set a more realistic Valid-From date for the Unit Costs so that system doesn't have to check for too many years to check for revaluation. Set the Valid-From date as late as possible.

For Example: If all Prices are set to be updated starting 1900. this way the system tries to check all years starting from 1900 to see possibility for revaluation postings. This is the reason the Import Simulation is so slow.
