How to configure the fields about “Time In Calculation” for Employees in Job Information Portlet?

Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors - Employee Central
Resolution
This is a new enhancement. Only configuration and permissions are required.
- Time in Company
- Time in Location
- Time in Department
- Time in Pay Scale Level
- Time in Job
To make these fields visible on the UI you can perform the steps via Data Model update or via Manage Business Configuration.
1) Configure the fields
- Via Data Model update
- Add the field in Job Information of Succession Data Model
- Import Data Model
- Via BCUI
- Admin Center->Manage Business Configuration
- Access Job Information Portlet
- Add the standard field for the time you want to display
- Add the standard field for Entry Date
2) Set the permissions for these fields
- Admin Center->Manage Permission Roles
- Select the wanted role
- Click on Permission
- Under "Employee Central Effective Dated Entities" Tab set the permission of the field “View Current” and “View History”
3) Configure the job
- Access "Manage Scheduled Jobs" in provisioning
- Create new job with the name: "Initialize additional entry date fields in job info"
- Start this job in Provisioning
After this process the fields should be available in the UI and show the correct value.
NOTE: Make sure for Time in Job, job-code field needs to be filled for the value to populate in the instance.
