2261998 - Accessing LinkItem property causes PowerBuilder to crash - SAP PB 12.6

Symptom

  • After migrating to PowerBuilder 12.6, the OLE interface is crashing the application.
  • Application is using an OLEControl placed on a window and uses the LinkTo() method to establish a link to a MS Word document(.doc).
  • The LinkTo() method succeeds, returning a value of 0 but when accessing the LinkItem property after this, PowerBuilder crashes.
