Symptom

  • In the Reference Manual for SAP Replication Server 15.7.1 :

...alter replication definition requires “create object” permission.

  • But when a non-sa user with "create object" permission is used to modify a replication definition, Error 37025 is raised:

alter replication definition "mytable_csrs" replicate all columns

Msg 37025, Level 12, State 0:
Server 'MY_RS':
SA permission is required to execute command.
