2262712 - After downgrade, rs_* sp execution can fail - SRS 15.7.1

Symptom

  • After downgrading from Replication Server 15.7.1 to an old version (like 15.0 - 15.1 - 15.2 - 15.5 - 15.6), even if the downgrade finished without reporting any problem, the execution of some Replication Server System Stored Procedure (sp) can fail with error message.
     
  • For example, after downgrading from Replication Server 15.7.1 SP20x to Replication Server 15.1, the execution of rs_helpdb fails with the following error message :

1> rs_helpdb
2> go
Msg 207, Level 16, State 4:
Server 'RSSD_Server_Name', Procedure 'rs_helpdb', Line 49:
Invalid column name 'connid'.
