Symptom

A Rich Text Component in editor mode doesnt line up to its placement when in preview mode.

Reproducing the Issue

In Report Designer > Report folder > Report > Page (in page editor) - a Rich Text Component in edit mode doesnt line up to its placement when in preview mode

Cause

This can be caused by any number of breaks (in this example, paragraph break) that the rich text is formatted in.

Resolution

To resolve:

1. select the rich text component

2. select click for full editor (under edit section on the left)

3. in the new window select source (top left)

4. remove any breaks in the HTML source (in this example, <p> and </p>)

5. save
