2264923 - “Time in Position”, “Time in Job”, “Time in Company”, “Time in Location” and “Time in Department” Not Calculated Post Job Info Import

Symptom

“Time in Position”, “Time in Job”, “Time in Company”, “Time in Location” and “Time in Department” are not populated for Employees added via Import.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Import Job information for an employee with '“Job Entry Date”,“Position Entry Date”, “Company Entry Date”, “Location Entry Date”, “Department Entry Date” empty.
  2. Go to the Job information Page of this employee.
  3. Notice that “Time in Position”, “Time in Job”, “Time in Company”, “Time in Location” and “Time in Department” are empty.

Cause

“Job Entry Date”,“Position Entry Date”, “Company Entry Date”, “Location Entry Date”, “Department Entry Date” and "job-code/role code" are empty in the import file.

Resolution

  • For 'Time in Position" to be calculated during Job Information Import, 'Position Entry Date' should be entered in the Import File.
  • The same will hold good for “Time in Company”, “Time in Location” etc. where “Company Entry Date”, “Department Entry Date”, etc.. need to be filled.
  • For 'Time in Job" to be calculated during Job Information Import, job-code should be entered in the Import file.
