2265789 - Ad-hoc Report (Succession Talent Pool v2 based nominations) Not Populating When Adding Role Information

Symptom

When creating an Ad hoc Report (Succession Talent Pool v2 based nominations) and add “Role Information” all information disappears.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Succession
  • Ad Hoc Analytics

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Ad hoc Reports > Create New Report
  2. Select ‘Single Domain’ Report and ‘Succession (Talent Pool v2 based nominations)’
  3. When you add columns without “Role Information” and press preview the report populates.

Cause

The role is not mapped to the talent pool.

Resolution

  • Map the role coming from Job Profile Builder to the Talent Pool.
  • See KBA 2265689 - Associating Pools with Roles in the Job Profiler Builder, for details on how to do this.
  • Note: Succession ad-hoc report are using JDM table to build the role information and they only support one role per mapped Talent Pool.  So, if a multiple Talent Pools are mapped to a role the report will only list one of the Talent Pools when the Role Information columns are used.
