2266099 - Error message shows curly bracket in the prompt

Symptom

  • The prompt showed curly brackets with number instead of parameter in the popping out message,for instance the message is "You can only add up to 3 goals in the {1} section before sending the form"

Environment

  • Performance Management for other lanuage except for defult English.

Reproducing the Issue

  • User go to Performance - Inbox- Choose the target Form - Send to the next step.

  • The issue will happen when user click on the Next Step button(button name could be customized in the "Manage Route Map"),  the screenshots below showed the symptom when user encountered. The curly bracket will be displayed.

Cause

  • MIN_GOALS_ERROR_MSG_SINGULAR is given a incorrect parameter in 3 tier language pack.

Resolution

  • Firstly, we need to download the 3 tier language pack for analysis purpose, and change the parameter {1} to {0} for key MIN_GOALS_ERROR_MSG_SINGULAR. Then we need to upload the changed file to the respective language pack.
  • Please refer to the KBA 2167625 for more details regarding how to use the 3 tier language pack to update the value in Provisioning.
