2267019 - Error-Deductions cannot be created with ZERO amount-EC-Benefits

System throws error as “Deductions cannot be created with ZERO amount” when saving insurance plan.

Go to Take Action form Employment Information page (as user) and click on Enroll for the Insurance plan type benefit. At the time of saving enrollment system throws error as “Deductions cannot be created with ZERO amount”.

System doesn’t support with ZERO as EE contributions if payroll integration flag is enabled at the backend/provisioning.

 In Insurance and Deductible allowance if Payroll integration was set to “Yes” in the benefits configuration, the employee was not allowed to enroll for an amount 0.

At the time of enrollment system throws error as “Deductions cannot be created with ZERO amount”

Prior to 1705 Release:To correct this issue please disable payroll integration flag at the benefit level, then the system will not try to create a deduction.

After 1705 release: The Employee contribution of 0 will be supported for Benefit types : Insurance and deductible allowances. If the benefit is integrated with payroll, the deduction entries will not be created. If the benefit is edit enrollable, the employee can change his contribution from non-zero to zero. For zero contribution, the permission check for pay component is ignored.
