2267911 - Installer fails with JVM error "The stack size specified is too small" - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When starting ASE installer
  • Message returned states "The stack size specified is too small". For example:
$ ./setup.bin
 
Launching installer...
 
The stack size specified is too small, Specify at least 2688k          
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
