2267946 - Interactive Form Not Available in the Form Template Maintenance

With 1511 you have the possibility to use Interactive Forms.  However, the interactive form template e.g. the Sales Quotes (Interactive Form) is not available in the Form Template Maintenance even though Interactive Forms are scoped.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Form Template Maintenance view.
3. Select the Advanced Search hyperlink.
4. Click on the Go button.
5. You can see that the respective form template e.g. Sales Quotes (Interactive Form) is not available.

Interactive forms are included in your scoping:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select your first implementation project
4. Click on the Edit Project Scope button.
5. Navigate to Step 3 Scoping.
6. Expand the element Sales -> New Business.
7. Select the element Communication for New Business.
   You can see that Interactive Forms is in scope.
8. Navigate to Step 4 Questions.
9. Expand the element Sales -> New Business.
10. Select the element Communication for New Business.
11. The following question is active: You can use a template to send sales quotes to your customers.

 

SAP delivers forms for Germany and USA as the standard. Therefore, the form template Sales Quotes (Interactive Form) is available only for the country Germany and USA. However, since in your system is only scoped for another country and since the form templates for the scoped countries only are displayed in the Form Template Maintenance UI, the form template Sales Quotes (Interactive Form) will not be seen.

To resolve this issue the customer can scope the either of the countries (Germany/USA). The Sales Quotes (Interactive Form) will then be visible in the Form Template Maintenance UI and you can then create a new variant for the respective country and save it.

If the customer does not want to scope either Germany or the USA but still requires forms (e.g. form template Sales Quotes (Interactive Form)) for a specific country, the customer can place a request via the case. This case then has to be forwarded to the application specific globalization component and they can take it forward.
