2268787 - InterCompany Transfer in ERP System

Symptom

  1. Employee Central Legal Entities US_A, US_B and US_C are in such a relationship that for intercompany transfers between these, no new PERNR shall be created in the ERP system. Nevertheless, they are represented by different Company Codes (BUKRS).
  2. You are observing following error message in the standard application log:

“An exception was raised: Precondition Violated”. You see only this error in the application log and no other errors. It occurs for new hired employees if the personnel number has external numbering and the customer is using the inter company transfer without using the BADI or work a round settings described in the guide. It could especially occur during the migration of old OnPremise data to EC.
