1. Go to any users Compensation Information block
2. When viewing the Pay Component Group calculations, you see the error: “Currency Conversion between EUR and USD has not been set up error showing under user’s compensation portlet”

This is a configuration issue

If the Pay Components and Pay Component Groups have different currencies defined in their configuration (or also if the employee's Pay Component is set in 1 currency but the Pay Component Group calculates in a different currency), then you will need to maintain Currency Exchange Rates in the instance.
