2270137 - 'There is already a country version ABC for country DEF.' Error in Create New Country/Region Version Screen

When trying to add a new country version in the activity Create New Country/Region Version the following error message appears:

'There is already a country version ABC for country DEF.'

ABC means the Country/Region Version.

DEF means the Country Name.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Open the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view.
3. Click Open Activity List button.
4. Go to Fine-Tune.
5. Open the Create New Country/Region Version activity.
6. Add a new country variant by filling out all mandatory fields.
7. Error is thrown:

'There is already a country version ABC for country DEF.'

Countries already scoped in the main scoping settings cannot be added as new variant in the Create New Country/Region Version activity.

The system is working as expected.
