2270930 - It is Not Possible to Delete a Routing Rule Created by Another User

When you try to delete a Routing Rule which was created by another User, the system gives the error message:

"Rule can only be deleted by ABC" (ABC representing the technical ID of the User who created the rule).

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Activity Planner workcenter
2. Select the Routing Rules view
3. Select a Rule that was created by another User
4. Select the Actions icon
5. Select Delete.

The following error message appears:

'Routing Rule can only be deleted by ABC'

This is the expected system behaviour. This also applies to Admin Users.

There is no access control for Routing Rules at the moment. This is a way to limit who can delete a Routing Rule.

In the future when access control is introduced this restriction can be lifted as the User who has access to see the rule would be able to delete it. Until then we need some restriction to prevent any User from deleting rules.

This feature is planned to be introduced in future releases, but as planning may change, we cannot communicate a specific release date at present.
