2271789 - Attachments Type Supported - Recruiting Management

• What are the supported types to attach files in Recruiting to the Candidate Profile, Application, Offer Detail, and Requisition templates?
• Is it possible to restrict certain types of files to be added/attached in Recruiting?

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Below are the list of supported formats in Recruiting.

• Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx)
• Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf)
• HTML
• Images (.gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png)
• Text file (.txt)
• .csv

Some of the non supported formats are:

• .ppt/.pptx
• .zip
• .rar
• MP4

As of now, it's not possible to configure to restrict certain types to be added as attachment.

Note: The file type of spreadsheet (.xls, .xlsx) is not supported for attachments, candidates are unable to submit files of this type. However, internal operators with write permission can upload spreadsheets to the multiattachment and multiattachmentselection fields.

However an enhancement request to include these file types (.xls , .xlsx) has been created and it can be voted upon to be added to the product in the future.
